The global consulting firm BTS has gathered the whole of its team at the Condal City from January 9th to 12th to celebrate their “Global Conference 2019”, a multifaceted event, with different locations and with all sorts of activities. And Abile Corporate Events has been in charge of organizing it from fist to last. Abile, in turn, decided to trust in Power AV for the whole audiovisual part.
It has been a huge, very demanding, job which has yielded a surprising result. It is easy to imagine that covering three days of meetings, conferences, dinners, shows and surprises for the more than 600 attendees and at 4 different sites is an issue of great magnitude and which requires a paramount planning, pooling and implementing effort.
As well as spaces for meetings, assemblies and conferences, the three dinners were the most remarkable events during the convention, which also included shows, opera singers, DJs and impressive spatial ambience designs. They were held at 3 exceptional locations in Barcelona:
- at the Hilton Diagonal Mar Hotel
- at the Barcelona Maritime Museum
- at The Dome, in Las Arenas Shopping Centre.
Power AV has deployed there a huge amount of video, lighting and sound systems and structures. Just to grasp an idea of the dimensions, we could mention…
- one of our best modular LED screens, Absen A3 at the stage of the gala dinner, made up of 180 modules and 45 sm.
- an assortment of almost 200 LED PARs and 70 robotized to lit the various spaces. We have used Robe, Martin, Chamsys and Chauvet equipment, among some others.
- more than 100 speakers of several kinds and brands (Meyer, Maui, Genelec…), 35 microphones (handheld, headband, band…) and 8 control boards (Soundcraft, DiGiCo)
- 16 projectors (Panasonic, Optoma, Christie)
Evidently, the highest value were the approximately fifty technicians and professional who were in charge of the installation and running of all the equipment and who were the ones responsible of everything going so smoothly.
